Mimetic + Mixpanel
Bring your Mixpanel project into the same workflow as your site audit. Investigate the events, funnels, and retention patterns behind a finding, then decide what to test.
Query event counts, segmentation, saved funnels, and retention to see where customers stop moving toward conversion.
Use the Mixpanel MCP tools alongside audit findings and other connected analytics to investigate a specific growth question.
You need a Mimetic site report and access to the Mixpanel project you want to connect. Have the project ID and its US, EU, or India data region ready.
MCP tools: connect_mixpanel, query_mixpanel, disconnect_mixpanel.
The service-account connection uses the Mixpanel Query API. The OAuth connection uses Mixpanel’s MCP service. Available queries depend on the connection method.
Mimetic’s Mixpanel connector is intended for reads and refuses known write operations. Use a service account limited to the project and permissions you need.
Results can include event or user properties and identifiers present in your project. Mimetic processes the requested results; using them through an AI assistant also shares those results with that assistant.
Use disconnect_mixpanel from your connected assistant to remove the Mimetic connection. You can also revoke the OAuth grant or service-account credentials in Mixpanel. Contact support if you need stored data deleted.
If authorization fails, check the project ID and data region first. OAuth also requires MCP access to be enabled in your Mixpanel organization; a project-scoped service account is the alternative.
Contact Mimetic support with your site or report URL, the integration name, and the error you see.
