Does Mimetic edit my theme code?
Never your live theme. Product, page and SEO fixes apply through Shopify's Admin API, and each one can be undone. When a fix needs a theme change, we build it on an unpublished copy of your theme: you preview it, and nothing goes live until you publish it, with one-click restore of your previous theme. Experiments run through an app embed you can switch off in the theme editor at any time.
How does the A/B testing work?
Each experiment starts in a private preview only you can see, on your real live theme. Start the test and Mimetic splits traffic, tracks visitors and orders through Shopify itself — no Google Analytics required — and shows conversion, AOV, and revenue per group as they come in.
What does the audit check?
