About This Event

A monthly peer workshop for anyone building or thinking about building a community in NYC. Bring your challenges, your experiments, and your ideas. We’ll share what’s working, what’s not, and help each other build stronger communities. Together we’ll explore: purpose and positioning formats that work common challenges in community building what to stop, tweak, or double down on The session is participatory, practical, and grounded in real examples. You’ll learn from others, share your experience, and leave with concrete next steps. Expect a warm welcome, small-group exchanges, honest conversations, and a supportive environment with fellow community builders, with an on-time start and finish. Agenda 6:00 – Welcome & intros Quick round: name, community, one challenge or question 6:15 – Small-group problem solving Groups of 3–4. Each person shares their community and a current challenge Group helps with ideas, examples, and solutions 7:00 – What’s working Each group shares one or two challenges and useful ideas that emerged 7:20 – Takeaways & next steps Everyone shares “One thing I’m going to try.” 7:30 –  End
