Before founding Luma in 2021, Amit was a systems and ML engineer at Apple, where he led Passthrough for Vision Pro and helped bring LIDAR to iPhones. He left with a conviction that learned models would drive the future of creation and joined SPC, where he started building Luma. His approach to building, focused on rapid iteration, user feedback, and simplicity, has powered Luma’s fast rise.
