Every action communicates multi-modal information that technological systems can leverage to understand us better - or to engage us more. Technology has the ability to change our lives for the better, as it is designed with the human in mind. But what makes technology truly human-centered? As AI evolves into our lives, these questions matter more than ever. This event centers around the question of: In an age of AI, what does it mean to be agentic in one's own thoughts? We will explore what happens when the AI's portrait of you is used not just to respond to you, but to reshape how you think. Through live demos you can try out, we'll showcase how AI systems use personal context to tailor persuasion, challenge self-concept, and shift opinion — often without the user noticing. We're bringing together experts working at the intersection of AI, cognition, and epistemology to discuss their work and visions for the future. As always, food and drink, engaging conversation, and incredible company will all be provided!
